The Normal Community Ironmen basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Champaign Central Maroons to 27 in the Ironmen league triumph on Thursday.

The Ironmen now sport a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pekin for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 10. Normal Community will battle a Dragons team coming off a 64-36 league loss to Canton (Canton, IL). The Dragons record now stands at 3-5.

The Maroons (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats enter the Big Twelve contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Normal West triumphed over Pontiac (Pontiac, IL), 66-45, in a non-league contest.
