Preble Shawnee Arrows (Camden, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Franklin Wildcats (Franklin, OH), 50-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Preble Shawnee upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Arrows host Bradford (Bradford, OH) to play the Railroaders in a Western Ohio bout on Thursday, January 5. The Railroaders come into the bout with a record of 0-6. Bradford lost 45-14 in their recent league bout against Ansonia (Ansonia, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Bellbrook Golden Eagles (Bellbrook, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - East bout, on Thursday, December 8. Franklin will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 65-36 non-league win over Madison (Middletown, OH).
