With the victory, Freeman Academy/Marion upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The host Centerville (Centerville, SD) to play the Tornadoes in a B Region 4 bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Tornadoes come into the bout with a record of 2-0. Centerville won 58-26 in their recent non-league bout against Canistota (Canistota, SD)

Next up, the Golden Eagles play the St. Mary Cardinals (Dell Rapids, SD) in a B Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Mitchell Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 46-42 league win over Howard (Howard, SD).
