The Ontonagon Gladiators basketball team (Ontonagon, MI), was toppled 41-22 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Hancock Bulldogs (Hancock, MI)
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calumet for a Western Peninsula battle on Tuesday, December 13. Hancock will confront a Copper Kings team coming off a 63-54 league win over West Iron County (Iron River, MI). The Copper Kings record now stands at 3-0.
The Gladiators (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Wakefield (Wakefield, MI). The Cardinals come into the Copper Mountain battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Wakefield was toppled by Wright (Ironwood, MI), 43-32, in a league battle.
