Miami Warriors (Miami, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX), 49-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miami upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 6-7. Pringle-Morse won 44-30 in their recent non-league bout against Accelerate Christian (Amarillo, TX)

Next up, the Hornets play the West Texas Comanches (Stinnett, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Highland Park will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record.
