Illinois High School Basketball - Hoopeston knocked off by Salt Fork

The Salt Fork Storm basketball team scored 35 points and held the host Hoopeston Cornjerkers to 18 in the Storm league triumph on Thursday.
The Storm now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chrisman for a Vermilion Valley contest on Monday, December 12. Salt Fork will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 38-14 league loss to Iroquois West (Gilman, IL). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-9.
The Cornjerkers (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 3-7 record. In their last contest, Gardner-South Wilmington ran past Donovan/St. Anne (Donovan, IL), 51-28, in a league contest.
