The Sto-Rox Vikings basketball team scored 36 points and held the host Jeannette Jayhawks to 29 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Vikings now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host McGuffey for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 15. Sto-Rox will battle a Highlanders team coming off a 55-42 non-league win over West Greene (Waynesburg, PA). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-1.
The Jayhawks (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA). The Wild Cats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, East Allegheny was nudged by Derry (Derry, PA), 51-36, in a non-league contest.
