Marietta Tigers (Marietta, OH) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV), 46-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Marietta upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Tigers travel to Belpre (Belpre, OH) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 14. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-3.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the University Hawks (Morgantown, WV) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Parkersburg South will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks go into the bout with a 4-0 record after their 59-55 non-league win over Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA).
