With the victory, Southern Academy improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Edgewood Academy (Elmore, AL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 16. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-0. Edgewood Academy won 62-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Crenshaw Christian Academy Cougars (Luverne, AL) in a AISA A Region 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Meadowview Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
