The Mt. Pleasant Vikings (Mt. Pleasant, PA) basketball nipped the visiting Yough Cougars (Herminie, PA), 49-44 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Vikings (3-1) will now prepare for their test against McGuffey (Claysville, PA). The Highlanders go into the non-league test with a 3-1 record.
The Cougars now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Steel Valley for a non-league test on Friday, December 9. Yough will encounter a Ironmen squad coming off a 61-14 non-league loss to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 0-3.
