Texas High School Basketball - Newman International Academy edged by Nazarene Christian Academy

The Newman International Academy Warriors basketball team (Arlington, TX), was nudged 29-28 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Nazarene Christian Academy Lions (Crowley, TX)

The Lions now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wylie Prep Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 13. Nazarene Christian Academy will confront a Patriots team coming off a 44-22 non-league win over Lakewood Presbyterian (Dallas, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.

The Warriors (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Poetry Community Christian (Poetry, TX). The Pioneer come into the non-league battle with a 12-1 record. In their last battle, Poetry Community Christian edged Temple Christian (Flower Mound, TX), 45-14, in a non-league battle.
