Pantego Christian Panthers (Arlington, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oakridge Owls (Arlington, TX), 33-30 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pantego Christian upgrades its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Parish Episcopal (Dallas, TX) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Parish Episcopal won 63-27 in their recent non-league bout against Newman International Academy (Cedar Hill, TX)

Next up, the Owls play the The Awty International Rams (Houston, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 15. Oakridge will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 6-1 record after their 49-8 non-league win over Living Stones Christian (Alvin, TX).
