Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs (Riverside, IL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL), 66-61 in a league bout.

With the victory, Riverside-Brookfield upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 5-5. Romeoville won 59-45 in their recent league bout against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL)

Next up, the Sentinels play the Elmwood Park Tigers (Elmwood Park, IL) in a Metro Suburban bout, on Monday, December 12. Westmont will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 5-4 record after their 49-41 non-league loss to Amundsen (Chicago, IL).
