Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Gar-Field Red Wolves (Woodbridge, VA), 54-7 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Riverbend upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bears host North Stafford (Stafford, VA) to play the Wolverines in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 13. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 0-1. North Stafford lost 76-10 in their recent non-league bout against Woodbridge (Woodbridge, VA)

Next up, the Red Wolves play the Charles J. Colgan Sharks (Manassas, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 13. Gar-Field will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
