In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored a good 66-50 triumph over the Lamar County Trojans.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Newton Rams (Covington, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 10. Alcovy will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.
With the defeat, Lamar County moves to 0-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Jackson (Jackson, GA) to meet the Red Devils in a non-league match on Friday, December 9. The Red Devils enter the match with a record of 3-1. Jackson won 60-50 in their recent non-league match against HOPE Christian Academy (Jonesboro, GA)
