Espanola Valley Sundevils (Espanola, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Belen Eagles (Belen, NM), 43-18 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Espanola Valley upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Sundevils travel to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM) to play the in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 10. The go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Academy for Technology and The Classics won 54-46 in their recent non-league bout against Pecos (Pecos, NM)

Next up, the Eagles play the Santa Rosa Lions (Santa Rosa, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Belen will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 67-53 non-league loss to West Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NM).
