The Chico Panthers basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Las Plumas Thunderbirds to 24 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University Prep for a non-league contest on Friday, December 9. Chico will meet a Panthers team coming off a 44-35 non-league win over Marysville (Marysville, CA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.

The Thunderbirds (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Live Oak (Live Oak, CA). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 1-3 record.
