Liberty Lions (Brentwood, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting College Park Falcons (Pleasant Hill, CA), 79-60 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Liberty upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Lions travel to Fairfield (Fairfield, CA) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league bout on Friday, December 9. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Falcons clash with the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 10. College Park will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Bruins go into the bout with a 2-1 record after their 67-58 non-league win over Alhambra (Martinez, CA).
