The Rio Americano Raiders basketball team scored 113 points and held the host Vanden Vikings to 21 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Raiders now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jesuit for a non-league contest on Friday, December 16. Rio Americano will battle a Marauders team coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to St. Mary's (Stockton, CA). The Marauders record now stands at 5-2.
The Vikings (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Rodriguez (Fairfield, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Rodriguez was routed by Inderkum (Sacramento, CA), 83-60, in a non-league contest.
