Illinois High School Basketball - Abingdon/Avon tipped by Farmington

The Farmington Farmers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Abingdon/Avon Tornadoes to 56 in the Farmers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Farmers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sherrard for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 16.
The Tornadoes (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Elmwood (Elmwood, IL). The Trojans come into the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Elmwood was edged by Princeville (Princeville, IL), 60-41, in a non-league challenge.
