    The Academy of the New Church Lions basketball team (Bryn Athyn, PA), was nudged 68-63 in Friday's non-league battle with the host McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD)

    The Eagles now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Haverford School for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. McDonogh will battle a Fords team coming off a 73-22 non-league win over Prep Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The Fords record now stands at 2-2.

    The Lions (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Prep Charter (Philadelphia, PA). The come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Prep Charter was nudged by Haverford School (Haverford, PA), 73-22, in a non-league battle.
