Kansas High School Basketball - Derby tipped by Andover Central

The Andover Central Jaguars basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting Derby Panthers to 55 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Andover for a Ark Valley-Chisholm Trail II contest on Tuesday, December 12. Andover Central will meet a Trojans team coming off a 70-61 non-league loss to McPherson (McPherson, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 1-2.

The Panthers (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Arkansas City (Arkansas City, KS). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Arkansas City nudged Winfield (Winfield, KS), 65-63, in a non-league contest.
