Medina Christian Academy Knights (Medina, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Andrews Osborne Academy Phoenix (Willoughby, OH), 60-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Medina Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Knights travel to Coventry (Akron, OH) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Coventry lost 55-51 in their recent league bout against Woodridge (Peninsula, OH)
Next up, the Phoenix play the Harvey Red Raiders (Painesville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Andrews Osborne Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
