The Boone Central Cardinals basketball team scored 53 points and restricted the host Pierce Bluejays to 45 in the Cardinals league victory on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Twin River for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 12. Boone Central will battle a Titans team coming off a 64-53 non-league win over Tekamah-Herman (Tekamah, NE). The Titans record now stands at 3-1.
The Bluejays (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hartington-Newcastle (Hartington, NE). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Hartington-Newcastle dropped by St. Francis (Humphrey, NE), 45-35, in a non-league contest.
