The Devils Lake Firebirds (Devils Lake, ND) basketball crushed the visiting Bottineau Braves/Stars (Bottineau, ND), 85-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Firebirds (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Hillsboro/Central Valley (Buxton, ND). The H-CV Burros go into the A Region 2 test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Hillsboro/Central Valley was trounced by Kindred (Kindred, ND), 52-42, in a non-league test.
