The Bronte Longhorns basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Sidney Eagles to 31 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Friday.
The Longhorns now sport a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to O'Donnell for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Bronte will battle a Eagles team coming off a 44-42 non-league loss to Munday (Munday, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 2-5.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Rankin (Rankin, TX). The Red Devils enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Rankin was defeated by Van Horn (Van Horn, TX), 35-24, in a non-league contest.
