California High School Basketball - Woodside knocked off by Cardinal Newman

The Cardinal Newman Cardinals basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Woodside Wildcats to 30 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cardinals now sport a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Petaluma for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Cardinal Newman will battle a Trojans team coming off a 54-36 non-league win over Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-0.
The Wildcats (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Marin Catholic was defeated by Petaluma (Petaluma, CA), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
