The Carlisle Thundering Herd basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting West York Area Bulldogs to 47 in the Thundering Herd non-league triumph on Friday.

The Thundering Herd now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mechanicsburg for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Carlisle will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 51-40 non-league win over Red Lion (Red Lion, PA). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-0.

The Bulldogs (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hempfield (Landisville, PA). The Black Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Hempfield was defeated by Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA), 65-53, in a non-league contest.
