The Lavaca Golden Arrows basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Charleston Tigers to 42 in the Golden Arrows non-league triumph on Friday.
The Golden Arrows now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Prairie Grove for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Lavaca will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-41 non-league loss to Booneville (Booneville, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 3-5.
The Tigers (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Two Rivers (Ola, AR). The Gators enter the 3A Region 4 contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Two Rivers was defeated by Western Yell County (Havana, AR), 77-47, in a non-league contest.
