The Checotah Wildcats basketball team (Checotah, OK), was nudged 40-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK)
The Bulldogs now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haskell for a non-league battle on Saturday, December 9. Jay will battle a Haymakers team coming off a 66-60 non-league win over Mounds (Mounds, OK). The Haymakers record now stands at 1-1.
The Wildcats (0-2) will now prepare for their battle against Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK). The Black Diamonds come into the NOAA battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Sallisaw was nudged by McLoud (McLoud, OK), 72-54, in a non-league battle.
