In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Christian Life Preparatory Knights basketball team scored a tight 54-47 victory over the Covenant Classical Cavaliers.
The Knights now possess a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Temple Christian for a non-league battle on Monday, December 11. Christian Life Preparatory will confront a Eagles team coming off a 64-45 non-league loss to Lake Country Christian (Fort Worth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
The Cavaliers (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against Weatherford Christian (Weatherford, TX). The Lions come into the TAPPS 3A District 1 battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Weatherford Christian was nudged by Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool (Fort Worth, TX), 73-46, in a non-league battle.
