The Community Braves (Nevada, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Henderson Lions (Henderson, TX), 61-47 in Friday's non-league test.
The Braves (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Rains (Emory, TX). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Rains went down by Dodd City (Dodd City, TX), 46-45, in a non-league test.
The Lions now own a 1-12 record. They play next when they host Troup for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Henderson will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 48-35 non-league loss to Brook Hill (Bullard, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 9-2.
