The Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD) basketball crushed the host Damascus Hornets (Damascus, MD), 77-36 in Friday's league test.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Einstein walloped McLean (Potomac, MD), 62-37, in a non-league test.
The Hornets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Walter Johnson for a non-league test on Monday, December 11. Damascus will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 69-61 non-league loss to Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
