University Trojans (Waco, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX), 64-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 12-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to Athens (Athens, TX) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, December 8. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Athens lost 59-34 in their recent non-league bout against Denton (Denton, TX)
