Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Durfee Hilltoppers (Fall River, MA) and the host East Boston Jets (East Boston, MA), saw Durfee's basketball squad knock off East Boston by a tally of 80-72.

With the victory, Durfee improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to O'Bryant (Roxbury, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 11. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Jets play the Charlestown Townies (Charlestown, MA) in a Boston City - North challenge, on Wednesday, December 13. East Boston will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record.
