Iowa High School Basketball - Essex ripped by Shenandoah

The Shenandoah Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Essex Trojans to 30 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.
The Mustangs now sport a 2-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarinda for a non-league contest on Monday, December 11. Shenandoah will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 49-44 non-league loss to Glenwood (Glenwood, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.
The Trojans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Murray (Murray, IA). The Mustangs enter the non-league contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Murray was routed by Ankeny Christian Academy (Ankeny, IA), 51-47, in a league contest.
