Indiana High School Basketball - Evansville Day can't hold off Tell City

The Tell City Marksmen basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Evansville Day Eagles to 53 in the Marksmen non-league victory on Friday.

The Marksmen now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Northeast Dubois for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Tell City will battle a Jeeps team coming off a 61-27 non-league loss to Orleans (Orleans, IN). The Jeeps record now stands at 2-2.

The Eagles (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against McLean County (Calhoun, KY). The Cougars come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, McLean County was nudged by Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY), 61-54, in a league contest.
