Fairbury Jeffs (Fairbury, NE) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Milford Eagles (Milford, NE), 31-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fairbury upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Jeffs travel to Thayer Central (Hebron, NE) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 9. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Thayer Central won 32-17 in their recent non-league bout against Diller-Odell (Odell, NE)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 9. Milford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 74-50 non-league win over Lincoln Christian (Lincoln, NE).
