The Jefferson Wildcats basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Fairview Apaches to 38 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 9. Jefferson will battle a Commodores team coming off a 60-28 non-league loss to Ottoville (Ottoville, OH). The Commodores record now stands at 0-2.
The Apaches (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Wauseon (Wauseon, OH). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Wauseon was defeated by Archbold (Archbold, OH), 58-53, in a non-league contest.
