The Fall Mountain Wildcats (Langdon, NH) basketball nipped the visiting Hopkinton Hawks (Contoocook, NH), 57-54 in Friday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Stevens (Claremont, NH). The Cardinals go into the Division III test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Stevens was tipped by Conant (Jaffrey, NH), 55-26, in a league test.
The Hawks now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Raymond for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 12. Hopkinton will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 50-47 league win over Prospect Mountain (Alton, NH). The Rams record now stands at 1-0.
