Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) and the visiting Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM), saw Santa Teresa's basketball squad overcome Gadsden by a tally of 71-61.
With the victory, Santa Teresa improves its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Desert Warriors travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to confront the Bears in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 12. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Hatch Valley lost 41-31 in their recent non-league challenge against Cliff (Cliff, NM)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 12. Gadsden will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Cavemen come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 74-24 non-league win over Deming (Deming, NM).
