Nebraska High School Basketball - Omaha Westside holds off Gretna

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) and the visiting Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), saw Omaha Westside's basketball squad hold off Gretna by a tally of 77-74.

With the victory, Omaha Westside improves its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Kearney (Kearney, NE) to confront the Bearcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 9. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a record of 2-1. Kearney won 73-38 in their recent league challenge against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)

Next up, the Dragons confront the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD challenge, on Saturday, December 9. Gretna will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Rockets come into the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 70-59 non-league win over Fremont (Fremont, NE).
