Halifax Wildcats (Halifax, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting West Perry Mustangs (Elliottsburg, PA), 69-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Halifax upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to East Juniata (McAlisterville, PA) to clash with the Tigers in a Tri-Valley bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. East Juniata lost 59-45 in their recent non-league bout against Midd-West (Middleburg, PA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Waynesboro Indians (Waynesboro, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, December 12. West Perry will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Indians go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 62-31 non-league loss to Warwick (Lititz, PA).
