Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Harding County Ranchers (Buffalo, SD) and the host Newell Irrigators (Newell, SD), saw Harding County's basketball squad wallop Newell by a tally of 53-14.

With the victory, Harding County improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Ranchers host Lead-Deadwood (Lead, SD) to encounter the Golddiggers in a non-league test on Saturday, December 9. The Golddiggers go into the test with a record of 0-1. Lead-Deadwood lost 69-56 in their recent non-league test against Bennett County (Martin, SD)

The Irrigators now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Bison for a B Region 8 test on Saturday, December 9.
