The Martin County Cardinals basketball team (Inez, KY), dropped 86-76 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY)
The Black Bears now sport a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bell County for a District 52 battle on Saturday, December 9. Harlan County will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 65-55 non-league win over Tri-Cities Christian (Blountville, TN). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-0.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY). The Bobcats come into the non-league battle with a 4-3 record. In their last battle, Betsy Layne prevailed over Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 56-55, in a non-league battle.
