Marion County Mustangs (Philadelphia, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO), 54-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Marion County upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Scotland County (Memphis, MO) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 15. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 4-2. Scotland County won 51-35 in their recent non-league bout against Highland (Ewing, MO)

Next up, the Cougars play the Scotland County Tigers (Memphis, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 11. Highland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 61-58 non-league win over Putnam County (Unionville, MO).
