Ohio High School Basketball - Mineral Ridge topped by Hubbard

The Hubbard Eagles basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Mineral Ridge Rams to 45 in the Eagles non-league victory on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poland Seminary for a Northeast 8 contest on Tuesday, December 12. Hubbard will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 44-39 non-league loss to Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.

The Rams (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against McKinley (Sebring, OH). The Trojans come into the Mahoning Valley - Scarlet contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, McKinley prevailed over Kingsway Christian (Orrville, OH), 61-54, in a non-league contest.
