Natchez Bulldogs (Natchez, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Jefferson County Tigers (Fayette, MS), 79-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Natchez upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Bulldogs host Port Gibson (Port Gibson, MS) to play the Blue Waves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 12. The Blue Waves go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Port Gibson won 63-57 in their recent non-league bout against South Delta (Rolling Fork, MS)

Next up, the Tigers play the Warren Central Vikings (Vicksburg, MS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 12. Jefferson County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 56-45 non-league loss to Clinton (Clinton, MS).
