In their next game, the Badgers meet the Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 9. Merkel will attempt to better on its 6-5 season record. The Bluecats enter the match with a 2-5 record after their 39-18 non-league win over Mason (Mason, TX).

With the defeat, Junction moves to 3-5 on the year. The Eagles host Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX) to meet the Eagles in a non-league match on Friday, December 15. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-7.
