    The Kimball Longhorns basketball team (Kimball, NE), dropped 56-42 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Perkins County Plainsmen (Grant, NE)

    The Plainsmen now sport a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paxton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 12. Perkins County will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Potter-Dix (Potter, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 2-2.

    The Longhorns (3-1) will now prepare for their battle against Morrill (Morrill, NE). The Lions come into the C2 District 12 battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Morrill prevailed over Garden County (Oshkosh, NE), 35-32, in a non-league battle.
